The skirt I am wearing here is from River Island, bought on ASOS. The pink colour is a real eye-catcher and perfect to add some colour to your outfits this summer. I am trying to be more open-minded when it comes to clothing now; before I never would have picked out a skirt like this because I would just stick to ''lasting'' colours. Although it is always a priority to fill your closet with basics I think it won't hurt to try out new styles and colours once in a awhile.
I know the white skirt underneath shows a little bit but personally that doesn't bother me, it is something to keep in mind tho if you really can't stand it!
I am obsessing over asymmetrical clothing at the moment and luckily there is plenty of choice! I have a post coming up about this very soon so keep your eyes open for that.
The top is just s simple tee from Pretty Little Thing, it is very oversized which I love and the colour goes so well with denim shoes. I picked it out because of how easy it is to style!
If you are looking into buying a pair of denim style shoes then a light blue tee is a must! It will prevent your shoes from staying in your wardrobe with a ''I have nothing to wear it with'' excuse.
THE ULTIMATE DREAM SHOES
These wedges are a light denim pair out the Stella McCartney Elyse range. I have had my eye on these for so long but could never find my size anywhere (they are sold out in store and website). Luckily I managed to find them on Vestiaire Collective; You might be able to find them on there if you look regularly, otherwise I have put another link at the top of the post. I personally believe that denim is a really good colour to own for a pair of shoes because it is not very common but quite easy to style.
- DENIM MUST HAVES -
Overall, owning a pair of denim shoes will just be a good variety to the basic monochrome colours such as black and white. However, I have found that they are very easy to pair with different outfits, more than I thought before. Even with a pair of dark denim jeans and a simple top they look outstanding! I have received so many compliments and just wanted to share some new inspiration with you!
I was wondering where you get your fashion inspiration from; mine is Pinterest, other bloggers and instagram. I find it so easy to save my inspiration and look back when I need it. What's your main go-to inspiration source? I would love to know!
